FILM FEST:With Hampstead Authors' Society

Sunday 20 March, 4pm

Allegro Barbaro -A concert pianist's art - and life - fall out of balance
A Zsuzsanna Ardó film

The LJCC is delighted to welcome filmmakers from the Hampstead Authors' Society (HAS), a fellow North London arts organization, for an afternoon programme of contemporary filmmaking.

The event will include showings of four short films which were premiered at a variety of venues including 48-Hour Film Challenge, Curzon Soho, Harvard and on Channel 4 television. The films vary from visual poem to comedy, each with very different narrative, lighting, sound and editing styles. Each film will be followed by a discussion, and the opportunity to ask the filmmakers questions.

The filmmakers and their films are BAFTA members David de Keyser (There's Something I Must Tell You), Zsuzsanna Ardó (Allegro Barbaro) and Jacob Sager Weinstein (The Herb Garden), and Martin Jago and Alexander McConnell (Change Alley).

The event will be chaired by Zsuzsanna Ardó, Chairman of the Hampstead Authors' Society.

For tickets, £7, please contact the LJCC office on 020 7431 0345 or email admin@ljcc.org.uk
